About Erin

Experience

Erin Maffia CPA, PFS, has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax preparation and planning for businesses and individuals. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. She started her career with Aldrich CPAs + Advisors (formerly Grice, Lund, & Tarkington) specializing in the financial planning and the taxation of high net worth individuals. For the following seven plus years, she focused on businesses and small business owners through her work at Redfern & Company.  

Maffia Consulting

Erin formed Maffia Consulting in 2017 as a way to further connect with her clients and give her the autonomy to work with her clients more closely. She has combined her wide-ranging industry expertise with tax ingenuity to provide clients with peace of mind over their finances. 

When she's not at work

Erin is a San Diego native, and likes to stay busy outside the office as well. She enjoys spending time with her two beautiful girls and wonderful husband. She also plays soccer, softball, tennis, is the Girl Scout Troop Treasurer, EEF Treasurer, PTA Auditor, Room Mom, and soccer coach.
